Show format - the options
"What You See Is What You Get": The EGOTEC editor works in the WYSIWYG mode. It means that any input is transformed into "well formed" HTML according to format and they appear on the website or on the Internet just like they are shown in the input window. The following formatting options are available: bullets, fonts, font sizes, font cuts, font colours, tables, predefined styles as well as hyperlinks. Even images may be inserted directly from the EGOTEC multimedia database and placed as desired, enlarged or minimised.


Content formatting made simple
Simple and comfortable handling has been the programme for the EGOTEC Content Management platform for a long time.
It enables free text formatting in the input fields during collection as well as taking over content from Word and other Windows applications simply by "copy & paste".


Collection directly in the editor - formatting during input
As usual for EGOTEC, working with the editor is simple and intuitive. Content for the Inter-, Intra- and Extranet pages is created within the well-known Office environment. Toolbars support the smooth input and formatting of content just as you know it from Microsoft Word or other word processing programmes.

To ensure a consistent corporate design, the extensive formatting opportunities may be limited to particular colours, font types and sizes. All functions and buttons can be configurated as desired when creating EGOTEC templates.


Takeover of formatted documents - practically and quickly
Utilisation of the editor saves a lot of time. Documents created in Word before do not have to be formatted again for the new medium, they may be taken over directly. In EGOTEC, you simply transmit existing texts and tables from Word or Excel by "copy & paste", including all formats.

  • Mapping table for automatic takeover of styles when inserting texts


Hyperlinks

  • Menu-guided hyperlink insertion and deletion within the entire text.

 

 

EGOTEC media database

  • Images (JPEG or GIF) may be adjusted directly from the EGOTEC media database with different alignments (left, right, floating text etc.). Image sizes can be enlarged/reduced as desired in the editor.
  • Text parts may be linked to any desired document from the media database.
