Searches content in full text or separated by categories

The EgoSearch module helps visitors to find what they are looking for on the page. The search function searches the website's content for the term entered. Full text search or search in categories can be selected. The search terms found are highlighted in the document.

Changes carried out on your website also have an effect on the results of the EgoSearch module. No matter if you change an existing text, add a new page or delete an existing page, the search routine of the EgoSearch module automatically considers all those changes.

EgoSearch supports connection of the search to logical operations (e.g. and, or etc.), wildcards just as the weighting of search hits according to frequency of occurrence. Such search hits created have a much higher accuracy than is possible with customary HTML search. In particular, the output of search hits is also much faster as a search index is created by all page content which is suitable for quick output even if the content is extensive.
