Log-on by connection to an external user administration

Integrate existing user management by EgoSingle-Sign-On:

EGOTEC has interfaces to existing user management such as LDAP, ActiveDirectory, Windows NT, Windows 2000. This is how existing users, passwords and group allocations can be managed centrally in one place. The interface organises the automatic import of existing users into EGOTEC. There, EGOTEC-specific user adjustments can be added. This purpose is usually fulfilled by the automatic import filter which creates particular standard user profiles when transferring new users.

When logging in to EGOTEC, the system automatically checks user validity and password in the external user system (LDAP, ActiveDirectory, NT user). A combination of users identified by external user administration and users managed within EGOTEC is also possible. Administrators, editors as well as Intranet users can be registered by EgoSingle-Sign-On.
