Thum + Mahr has already been offering digital media solutions for radio for 25 years. Among their customers are well-known radio stations within Germany and abroad.

So far, customer information has already been communicated via the medium of the Internet, while the increasing time spent on management has resulted in a fall in the topicality of information. To improve internal processes and to reduce the amount of work involved it was decided to utilise a Content Management System.

After intensive product research a decision was made in favour of EGOCMS 3.2 of the EGOTEC GmbH. The system is proven in practice and used by a number of customers and is based on PHP 4 so that it can be operated with the previous hosting provider without additional cost. Besides the degree of distribution, particularly the modularity and the simple handling of EGOTEC were decisive.
