 in-team Consulting GmbH with corporate seat in Ingolstadt offers occupational-medical and security-technical maintenance according to the Occupational Safety Act. The services offered include placement service, support for implementation of the AUEG and tariff agreements of the sectors, training and implementation of the management system. in-team supports companies from 30 employees up to internationally acting concerns with 10,000 employees.

In the field of management systems, in-team wanted to establish a suitable document management portal. They wanted to provide customer companies with clearly structured, always accessible and up-to-date documents and information.

Several systems were evaluated. In the end, EGOTEC 4 was accepted due to its simple handling and simple system concept. The main requirements were multiple use and document access control.

An inventory of documents relevant to customers was filed in the system and they were customised for the individual customer by exactly adjustable access rights. This reduces maintenance and personalised compilation of information to a minimum. The up-to-date documents are categorised in the different subject areas at the moment of publication and automatically provided to the relevant target groups.

Users access the files and documents - mainly PDF and Word files - by the Windows Explorer's Look & Feel. The additional search function provides the opportunity to search those documents.

On 1st June 2006, the service for customer companies "in-is.info" started and has been actively used since then.

Due to its flexible and modular design, its platform, operational system and browser-independence, EGOTEC 4 offers companies and organisations optimally integrated solutions. EGOTEC 4 is provided completely in PHP source code, extensions may be performed independently by API.
