Sasol Wax GmbH located in Hamburg is the internationally leading supplier of paraffins, hard waxes and vaselines. For more than 50 years, Sasol Wax GmbH has concentrated on the processing of products based on kerosene. Products of Sasol Wax are distributed and produced in more than 60 countries. With more than 1,000 employees world-wide, Sasol Wax GmbH realised an annual turnover of 500 million euros.

So far, a Content Management System based on Java has been used for the maintenance of contents. This was relatively "bulky" to handle and had further deficiencies that could not be arranged with a strategic new conception. In the context of a selective process several Content Management Systems were tested and evaluated.

Hence, for the Internet presence a flexible solution was sought that meets the requirements of internationally operating companies with the simplest handling. Hereby, the decision was made to apply EGOCMS 3.5. Besides the simple handling, a smooth migration of the data stock that has been maintained by xRed so far was crucial.

The new Internet presence will be fine-tuned graphically with the corporate design of the Sasol group. Here, the essentially easier maintenance of multilingual contents in English and German is important. These can be now comfortably selected and processed with a mouse-click. Within the scope of the relaunch, three international websites will be united under http://www.sasolwax.com. Maintenance will be carried out decentralised in the count
