EGOTEC - the company With their Enterprise Content Management System "EGOTEC", EGOTEC GmbH have established themselves in the German-speaking Content Management sector within five years. Nowadays, among their customers are more than 200 companies and organisations managing their websites and Intranets with EGOTEC. EGOTECs corporate seat is located in Mosbach (Baden-Wuerttemberg). In addition to Germany, the company is represented in Switzerland, Austria and Luxembourg.

The story of success

Established in August 1999 by Mr Heiko Roth (Technical Director, Graduate in Computing Science with Diplom Degree) and Mr Wolfgang Lind (Commercial Director, Graduate in Business Economics with Diplom Degree (BA)) as EGOTEC GmbH. At that time, the first projects in the field of Content Management were created in the script language PHP3 and formed the basis for the establishment of today's successful product EGOTEC .

In October 2000 the business field of EGOTEC GmbH increased by participation of MPDV Mikrolab GmbH, the leading software provider for company data management in the German-speaking area. MPDVs standard software HYDRA was increased by EGOTEC technology, browser-based analysis and information.

Due to the strong development at EGOTEC, EGOTEC and MPDV decided at the end of 2002 to concentrate on the individual core areas. Adequate know-how transfer enabled MPDV to independently develop and maintain the browser-based HYDRA that was created by the good collaboration.

Since then, EGOTEC has again focussed exclusively on Content Management and particularly on their own product EGOTEC. Dynamic revenue development proves that this was the right decision.

The team

Qualified, motivated employees work at the Mosbach headquarters in customer-oriented teams. This co-operative collaboration and direct customer contact makes it easier to cope with the tasks. Since the beginning, we take care of junior staff by training in our own company. In 2003, we received the quality seal for training as an award from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Rhein-Neckar for our constantly good training politics.

Customer orientation

Practice-proven solutions are created by direct contact between customer and software manufacturer. The product range around EGOTEC is continually extended by customer requirements which are integrated in the standard product. Customer requests that are generally relevant are integrated in the follow-up released of the EGOTEC Content Management Systems. "We design products according to our customers needs."
