The news module comprises the complete administration of current press releases. It provides the entire life cycle from creation to release of the start page, filing news lists, up to archiving in the press archive.

Due to EGOTECs portal functionality, it is possible to superimpose a current press article directly on the start page of the web presence. Already at the time of creation you can allocate a start and expiration date to it. It is thereby determined, how long the article will be on the start page, how long it will be listed in the current press releases and when it will be automatically filed in the press archive.

EgoNews is able to administer several news areas and they can be displayed, for example, independent of access rights. Together with the EgoLetter module, news may be sent automatically to registered users in the form of a subscription.

EgoNews also covers the "What´s new" function which provides an overview of the latest content changed in the form of a list.

Any articles used within EgoNews may be filed in archives according to periods of time by the archive function.
